Redmi Note 8 Pro has been launched in India.  With this smartphone, the company has given some special features that people may like.  As such, it has the support of inbuilt Alexa.  Google Assistant has not gone anywhere, you can also use it.  Both will also work together, he can activate Google Assistant by speaking Google, while Alexa can give commands to Alexa by speaking.

Redmi Note 8 Pro also has a 64-megapixel rear camera, which is the first smartphone of Xiaomi in India with this sensor.  For this, the company has partnered with Samsung, that is, this camera sensor belongs to Samsung.  Four cameras have been given on the rear panel and this time the company has also launched a green color variant which is quite good.

After using the Redmi Note 8 Pro for some time, we have brought a quick review of this smartphone for you, so that you can understand what this smartphone is like.

Look &  feel

A lot of work has been done on the design and build quality of the Redmi Note 8 Pro.  Look and feel of the phone is good.  The company calls it Aura Design, which you can also call gradient design.  The company brought this design with Redmi Note 7 but is quite different from Redmi Note 7 Pro in terms of design.

Protection of Gorilla Glass 5 has been given in both front and rear.  The rear panel is covered, so it is quite easy to hold.  The phone is big but still its grip is good.  The phone is a little slippery but there is no fear of falling out of hand.  The rear panel acts as a fingerprint magnet.

Display

The display of the phone is good and when you use, it seems that you are using a premium smartphone.  The bezels are kept to a minimum and the water drop style notch has been given.

Talking about the rear panel of the phone, there is a camera module in the upper center and a rear fingerprint scanner attached to this module.  This may seem a bit strange to some of you, as the rear fingerprint scanner is usually a bit down.  The macro lens is next to the center module and just below it is the LED flash.

Special attention has been given to performance and this smartphone has been introduced by targeting gaming users.  MediaTek Helio G90T is a mid range gaming processor and this is what Xiaomi has used for this smartphone.  The good thing is that in this segment, the company has also given liquid cooling tech, so that the phone does not have the problem of overheating.  After gaming in full review, we will tell you how this phone handles heavy gaming.

There is no lag feeling during the Redmi Note 8 Pro use and it is smooth.  Multiple apps can be used simultaneously.  This smartphone runs on Android 9 based MIUI 10 and this year it will get an update of MIUI 11.  Many pre-loaded apps have been given in the phone, including apps like Amazon, Netflix, Gaana, Daily Hunt and Opera.

Overall camera experience is good

Apart from gaming, the company has given more prominence to the camera of this smartphone.  This phone has four rear cameras - 64 megapixel primary camera, second 8 megapixel ultra wide and third 2 megapixel depth sensing camera.  Apart from this, a 2 megapixel macro lens has also been provided.  For the selfie, it has a 20-megapixel front camera.

This smartphone is good in terms of photography.  There are many smartphones in this segment, but currently there are no smartphones in India with a 64 megapixel sensor for Rs 14,999.  The price of Realme XT is Rs 15,999.  Apart from the camera in both smartphones, it is also a difference that there is no dedicated hardware for gaming in Realme XT.

There is no change in the camera interface is traditional.  For 64MP you have to select the mode.  Portrait mode is also fine but not the best.  Photos clicked by 64 megapixels contain a lot of details.  Apart from this, macro mode is also good but not the best.

The coating has been given to protect it from accidental water spills and dust, but this does not mean that you put it in water.  Warranty will not be available.  18W fast charging has been supported with this smartphone and the company is also giving 18W fast charger in the box.  Its battery is 4,500mAh and it can give good backup but battery test we will be able to tell only after full review.

Overall Redmi Note 8 Pro seems to be a great package at this price range.  During the review, it will be interesting to see how this media-based gaming processor and 64 megapixel sensor take this smartphone.
